Region 5 of the National Association for Interpretation
consists of interpreters from state parks, county agencies, museums, zoos, park districts, recreation facilities and many other public and private organizations in Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Manitoba, and Nunavut.
Interpretation is a mission-based communication process
that forges emotional and intellectual connections between
the interests of the audience and the meanings inherent in the resource.
